Let’s learn about our Adventurers!
Caelum has been travelling aimlessly, meeting people who he hopes will help him understand his purpose in life. He came across a small town and decided to try and meet the local mage. He met a small boy, Johnny, and a rude-AF teenager… and a traveller called Quentin while waiting for the local mage to return.
Quentin travelled from Baulder’s gate to a small town to meet with a local mage. He is seeking to understand a spellbook he is carrying. The local mage – Pelor – was very deaf and old and shouted about Candlekeep and a mage called Matreous. Caelum makes tea, but not for Quentin and they nope out when asked about lunch Martha’s bringing a chicken for lunch…. byeeeee
Caelum & Quentin travelled south together and talked.
Eryn travelled with Giranior, an employee of his household, across the ocean and is heading for Candlekeep. Eryn is seeking answers as to why he cannot seem to interact with the weave. They travelled with a caravan north to a local tavern near Candlekeep to spend the night.
Catrin has travelled for some time from another library and decided to stay at a local inn while she considers how she will enter Candlekeep. Why is she travelling to Candlekeep? I hear you ask… As an archivist, she has access to information that seems to have gotten her family into some trouble.
Tizva is the daughter of a pair of travelling nomads proficient at smithing work. Her overbearing parents have regularly quashed her dreams of exploring the lands, preferring to keep her close. She is treated like a child, even by those around her with the assumption she isn’t ready to be out in the world on her own. She spends a lot of her time with her horse, Mercury and feels like she is her only friend in the world.
Travelling from all different directions, the party seems to have come together to fight 3 wolves chasing a small girl.
TLDTN:
Eryn rushed in – and got knocked out. did it sound like a tree just fell over?
Tizva kicked ass. ka-pow
Wolves got killed because they couldn’t get the cork off the healing potion. them damn corks will get you every time!
Catrin ghosthanded that last wolf chokey-time for you
Martin, the tavern owner, thanks the party for saving his daughter and insists they stay the night – free of charge – and recuperate.
A mysterious hooded mage enters the tavern and is vague with the party. rude
Giranior drew Eyrn a bath and seemed a little too eager to control his movements for the night. Did you see him talking to the tavern owner before turning in for the night?! ^_-
As Caelum goes to leave, he feels an overwhelming, but fleeting, sense of joy. Perhaps these travellers are exactly what he needs in his life…
After everyone goes to bed, Catrin sets a mental alarm for anyone entering her room – which goes off in the night – however, the mysterious hooded mage seems to move too fast for her to react and demands she bring the Joy of Extradimensional Spaces out of Candlekeep.
What’s going to happen next? You’ll just have to turn up on Sunday and find out!
Is this going to go well? Probably not. I’m terrified I am going to stuff it all up. And I’m going to do it anyway. They are truly talented humans and I don’t feel like I’ve done this justice – but it’ll get better… I promise.
Till next time.
