If you haven’t heard of The Blind Side (2009), it doesn’t surprise me. I hadn’t heard of this movie until a few weeks ago and I knew I just had to try and find it.
Sidenote: Did you know that your local library might loan out DVD’s? It’s easier than finding a film in streaming services…
The Blind Side is the story of Michael Oher, a homeless and traumatized boy who became an All-American football player and first-round NFL draft pick with the help of a caring woman and her family.
I had never heard of Michael Oher before this movie… In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen any movies about NFL players. I guess this one is my first.. Did I pick a good one? Is there another one I can watch? Let me know in the comments!
I enjoyed learning a bit more about the NFL – I ended up asking my best friend about the NFL.. She lives in America and I love her to bits. I didn’t learn much but enjoyed chatting with her about it.
The incredible story of Michael Oher and Leigh Anne Tuohy’s family is definitely a story for the whole family. I think it’s incredibly inspirational and I do hope I can find more films like this to watch.
